What to do about elbow pain?

I have been asked by a few of people on how to deal with elbow pain, specifically tendonitis/tendonosis or golfers and tennis elbow as known to most people.

I will keep this short and sweet.

The basics are:

  1. Modify or avoid aggravating activities (avoid hitting off mats if possible)

  2. Improve shoulder mobility to take the stress off the elbow in the swing

3) Work on grip strength via pullups, carries and hand grippers

4) Load the Elbow focusing on slow eccentrics

2 to 3 sets of 10 of each with 5 to 8-second eccentric release

Do 1-2 sets of 10 of these, just slow continual movement playing with what feels best

5) Be patient can take up to 9-12 months for full resolution (see attached picture).
